Well, poor Annabelle had her first run-in with a cactus this morning on her am jaunt through the neighborhood. Upon getting out of the shower, I hear her whining in the other room and come in to see her pinned to the floor by Drew as he attempts to pull the little pricklies out of her face.
After chasing a lizard down the sidewalk, a floating cactus ball decided to join in the chase and attached itself to her poor face... we will see if she stops chasing lizards!! Luckily, he got the cactus ball off, but not before getting attacked himself by the cactus and ending up with a bruised hand.
Oh the joys of desert living...

Poor Annabelle!! My girls go after the cute little sticky-fingered frogs here, and sometimes I wish something would get in the way of there hunting... So far I have alway intervened in time to save the frog, but without a cactus-type plant to help me, I'm worried it's only a matter of time. I hate that she got the pricklies in her face though :( Give her a hug for me! I love that you have a blog now-- one more for me to check!! You need pics too! :)
So I stumbled upon this page thanks to facebook. Here's the question though, are you going to update it more than/instead of 360?? Speaking of, I still believe we haven't seen pics of your new place! (Oh and I hope Annabelle and Drew are recovering from the cactus attack!)
oh no! That is so sad for Annabelle and for Drew. We miss you here, but we hope that you are enjoying your dessert adventure. Hang in there!
